The Stage 1 burn ban in the Spokane area ends at 9:00 AM today.
Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency is issuing a Stage 1 burn ban, effective at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 27 until further notice. A Stage 1 burn ban prohibits the use of a wood stove or other solid fuel burning device within the Spokane-area Smoke Control Zone unless the device is EPA-certified. The use of EPA-certified devices is allowed. A Stage 1 burn ban also prohibits outdoor burning throughout Spokane County.
Spokane area burn ban is lifted, effective 4 PM, Tuesday, January 17.
