Fire Safety Burn Ban called for Pacific County

Pacific County is implementing a “Burn Ban” effective at 12:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2017. Pacific County Fire Districts and Fire Departments in cooperation with the Washington Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Olympic Clean Air Agency (ORCAA) will be enacting restrictions on all outdoor burning. All residential burning associated with land clearing is be prohibited until further notice.

The Burn Ban applies to all outdoor burning except recreational cooking fires in approved fire pits that are limited to 3-feet in diameter and 2-feet in height. Fires for debris disposal are not considered recreational and are not allowed under any circumstances.
