As of today, Fire District 6 does not have a burn ban however you are limited to a 3ft x 3ft max camp fire using natural cut firewood. No yard debris burning.
We make every effort to ensure that all burn ban announcements and restrictions are posted. Always call or visit your county and local clean air agency and check the DNR fire danger for the most current information.

hey im going camping the weekend of august 12-14 on a private lake, sorry i forgot the name, its my friends property and its off exit 78 golf course road exit, they have a 3 ft. deep 4ft. across fire pit and its bricked all around and has a metal cylinder at the top of the pit. am i going to obe able to have a fire?
That is Fire District 7 area. The County has not yet initiated a burn ban, but you would be in DNR protected area, and DNR does have a State wide burn ban on right now. I would contact Chief Hobbs 509-304-8195
I do a annual campout every year in salmon la sac. It seems regardless of weather throughout the year there is a burn ban on during August. Why is this, and how do you go about deciding the risk?
Salmon la Sac campground is in USFS territory. For the last few years the 1000hr fuel moisture levels have reached the 12% low level that indicates sever fire behavior in July or earlier, therefore a burn ban is warranted & implemented.
Greetings:
We are going to Lake Easton RV Park on 8/18 for the weekend and was wondering if a burn ban is in effect. Thanks
Please contact Washington State Department of Ecology Central Regional Office at 509-575-2490. They will have specific information for the area in question.

What are the boundaries of fir district 6? I will be camping that area this weekend, and want to make sure I know where I can have a fire, and where I can’t. Thanks.
We cover from Roslyn to Timber Cove past Wishpoosh camp ground. We are now in a total burn ban. No camp fires, only propane BBQ’s are allowed
Lake Easton is covered by District 3. They are also in a burn ban with the exception of Lake Easton State Park. Lake Easton resort would be in the banned area
I am taking my boys camping at Scatter Creek up by Lake Telaqua (sp?), about 9 miles up the Forest Servcie road from Salmon Le Sac this weekend, and am wondering if we will be able to have a campfire?
Also, is this the web site that maintains campfire allowances that I can check for staewide burn bans?
Thank you.
Scatter Creek is in USFS land and as of now, no fires are permitted unless in an established fire pit in a USFS campground. DNR is a great site for State burn ban info. http://www.dnr.wa.gov
