County Wide Fire Safety Burn Ban- outdoor burning banned until further notice.
Call local fire department for burn ban details. Recreational fires may still be allowed at this time but you need to check with local fire authority on permit requirements and restrictions.
If you have any questions regarding pest and disease burn permit, please contact Ecology at (509) 575-2490.
We make every effort to ensure that all burn ban announcements and restrictions are posted. Always call or visit your county and local clean air agency and check the DNR fire danger for the most current information.
Find out more information about RCW 70.94.473, WAC 173-425 and important key terms.

Are campfires allowed at this time at Lake Wenatchee state park? Is there a site I can check specifically for Lake Wenatchee, as we will be camping there the beginning of August. Thank you, Marion Telles
Are we allowed to have a small, recreational campfire in a retail-type, raised, metal fire pit in a cleared, gravel area of our yard?
Hello Kathy – If you live within the Urban Growth Area (UGA), it is likely that recreational fires are not allowed. Please contact WA state Department of Ecology Central Regional Office at 509-575-2490 and your local Fire District/Marshal to confirm seasonal burn restrictions for your specific area.

I see my neighbors are burning out here on the Bridgeport Bar. Has the burning ban for Douglas County been lifted?
