Until the state Department of Ecology begins posting their burn announcements on this site, you best direction for burn ban status is the following link. The Central Regional Office (CRO) in Yakima is responsible for the following counties: Chelan, Douglas, Kittitas, Klickitat and Okanogan. Call (509) 575-2490 for questions concerning these counties.

The Eastern Regional Office (ERO) in Spokane is responsible for the following counties: Adams, Asotin, Columbia, Ferry, Franklin, Garfield, Grant, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Stevens, Walla Walla and Whitman. Call (509) 329-3400 for questions concerning these counties.

The daily burn decision for Ecology regulated Eastern Washington counties is determined by the regional office responsible for the county in question. If you have questions about the daily burn decision please call the correct office. Most of the eastern and central region of the state are still under a NO BURN restriction today excpet for the following:

Garfield County:  County No Burn

Grant County: Zone 43; NO BURN, Zone 42; Start at 1pm, Fires out by 4pm; Zone 41, Start at 1pm Fires out by 4pm

Lincoln County: Start at 1pm, Fires out by 4pm

Stevens County: County NO BURN

Pend Oreille: County NO BURN

Walla Walla County only Zone 2: Fire Safety BURN BAN

The remaining counties still have a NO BURN restriction in place
