To apply for residential or agriculture burn permits contact Dept. of Ecology (509)-575-2490. In particular the public is reminded that use of burn barrels are illegal.For outdoor silviculture burning contact Department of Natural Resources 509-884-3473. Contact your local fire district prior to lighting any fires. Additional restrictions may be in place. Burn permits are required for all outdoor burning over 10 feet in diameter. Consult Department of Natural Resources or your local Fire District for permits.

    Will the burn ban in Kittitas County, South Cle Elum be lifted October 1, 2011? We are camping in the area near Peoh Point.
